A woman from Los Angeles has filed a class action suit against Miley Cyrus, claiming she mocked Asians in a recent photo by slanting her eyes. Price tag: $4 billion.

TMZ report that Lucie J. Kim claims to represent more than 1 million Asian Pacific Islanders who live in L.A. County. Kim claims when Cyrus posed for the photo, she “knew or should have known that her image would be publicly disseminated via the media, which Cyrus knew focused on her private life.”

Kim says in the suit, filed  in L.A. County Superior Court, that each Asian Pacific Islander is entitled to the minimum damages for a civil rights violation — $4,000. Add it up — $4 billion dollars! Ouch!

Do you think the suit will proceed? I mean the picture it’s a so big offense to asian people? I have asian friends and some don’t like the picture, other don’t care, but a suit?

Our dearest Miley Cyrus it’s on a new scandal (again?), for a funny picture with her friends and making a slant eyes gesture!

Some people are very angry because say that is a racist gesture, considered degrading to Asian people.

Other people think the picture it`s just a funny picture with young teenagers.

Miley Cyrus has reevaluated her Vanity Fair photo controversy of April 2008, and decided it wasn’t that bad after all. And make some statements about it on UK.

“Everyone outside of America liked it a little bit more because that’s more like the style, but the States are really conservative,” Miley told Scotland’s Daily Record about the Annie Leibovitz shoot, the results of which she originally said made her feel “embarrased.” “[I] guess I just had to deal with that and just realize that I got to work with an amazing photographer.”

Mile Cyrus decided to do a photo shoot with the famous magazine Vanity Fair.

This photo shoot pushed the limits of what is acceptable in our society for how role models, teens, and the media should act. These pictures were taken by famed photographer, Annie Lebowitz, and have caused mass outrage on both sides of the coin.

The Miley Cyrus Vanity Fair shoot first have caused outrage to the parents of the fans of Miley Cyrus. This is because Miley is acting like an “adult” in posing for pictures with just a sheet covering her. The parents are outraged because they do not want their kids acting as if they are adults, when in fact they are kids. This type of soft “pornography”, as some have called have outraged parents everywhere.

Another outrage is of Vanity Fair. Most people have speculated that Vanity Fair should be reprimanded and punished for this egregious act. They basically are exploiting a 15 year old girl, and her fan base, to sell more magazines. Vanity Fair is also pushing the boundaries of some child pornography laws. Miley Cyrus (named Destiny Hope Cyrus) was born on November 23, 1992 in Nashville Tennessee to Billy Ray Cyrus (actor/country singer) and Leticia Finley.  She has five siblings: Christopher, Braison Chance, Noah Lindsey, Brandy and Trace.

In 2006 her family moved to Los Angeles and after many interviews and call-backs she received her break-out role as Hannah Montana/Miley Stewart in the Disney Channel hit Hannah Montana. The show has been a big hit for Disney.
